Modern Home Decks is a service website operated by Modern Home Builds MN LLC.
Modern Home Builds MN LLC (Modern Home Builds, we, us, or our) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit modernhomedecks.com, contact us, request our services, or choose to receive text messages.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, city, project details, communications, and service preferences. If you opt in to text messages, we keep the phone number, consent disclosure, consent date and source, and opt-out information needed to manage that choice. Please do not send sensitive financial, identity, or health information through a project inquiry.
Chat widget and separate consent
The LeadConnector chat widget sends information you submit through it to our GHL customer-support system. Its current consent disclosure describes promotional text messages and calls. This is separate from the Project Updates program described here. Starting a chat or providing a phone number alone is not consent to promotional SMS; any such consent must be expressly provided under the disclosure shown in that widget.
How the website contact form works
When you submit the website inquiry form, your name, email, city, project type, project details, submission time, language, service website, and campaign/source parameters when present are sent to our LeadConnector/GoHighLevel customer-management system so we can respond and manage your inquiry. Cloudflare hosts the website. The inquiry form does not collect a phone number or enroll you in SMS. If delivery cannot be confirmed, you may choose to send the inquiry through your email application instead.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, discuss estimates, arrange consultations, coordinate requested work, provide customer support, and maintain business records. When you specifically consent to our Project Updates text program, we may send inquiry responses, estimate follow-ups, appointment confirmations and reminders, and project updates. We do not treat a phone number alone as SMS consent.
SMS privacy and consent
We do not sell or rent personal information. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all other categories of data sharing. We do not sell, rent, or disclose this information to third parties or affiliates, except messaging providers and aggregators that process it solely to deliver and administer our messages on our behalf. They may not use it for their own marketing. SMS consent is specific to Modern Home Builds and is not transferable to another business.
Limited service-provider processing
We may use Cloudflare for hosting, GoHighLevel (GHL) for customer communications and text-message administration, and email or other service providers to operate the website, respond to you, and deliver messages on our behalf. Those providers may process only the information needed to perform those services; they are not authorized to use your mobile information or SMS consent for their own marketing. Other information may be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect rights and security. All other disclosure categories exclude SMS opt-in data and consent. Only messaging providers and aggregators may process those records to deliver and administer our messages on our behalf; this does not authorize independent marketing or transfer of consent.
Website hosting and local storage
Cloudflare hosts and protects this website and may process connection data such as IP addresses, request information, device/browser details, and security logs. The website stores your language preference in your browser’s local storage. The site includes a LeadConnector / GoHighLevel chat widget. If you use it, your chat messages, contact details you provide, and relevant connection or device information may be processed by GHL to deliver chat and customer support. The widget may use browser storage or cookies for its operation. Starting a chat does not by itself authorize SMS; any text-message opt-in must be expressly provided through the applicable consent disclosure. We do not add a separate advertising analytics pixel. You can manage cookies and clear local storage through your browser settings.
Your text-message choices
SMS participation is optional and is not a condition of purchasing services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to a message to unsubscribe; you may receive one confirmation of your opt-out. Reply HELP for assistance or contact us below. Retention, security, and your requests
We keep inquiry and service records for as long as needed for the purposes described, legal obligations, and resolving disputes. Consent and suppression records may be kept to document permission and honor opt-outs. We use reasonable safeguards, but no transmission or storage method is completely secure. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your information, or to withdraw consent. We may verify your identity and retain records where necessary or required by law.
Children and external links
Our services and text program are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information. Links to external services, including social platforms, are governed by those services’ own policies.
